Description
The Trane EK-757S Liquid Line Filter Drier is a refrigerant-line component that component contaminants and removes moisture from the liquid refrigerant circuit during HVAC system operation. Positioned in the liquid line, its desiccant material adsorbs moisture while the filter media captures particulate matter that could circulate through downstream components. This filtration and drying action supports the refrigerant circuit by conditioning the liquid stream before it reaches metering system and other equipment components. Positioned between sections of the liquid-line piping, the assembly operates as part of the refrigerant-flow path rather than as an active control system.
