The Trane DHY1453 Liquid Drier is a small but an essential accessory meant for use in Trane HVAC systems that use different refrigerants including R-22 and R-410A. It is only 5.57” long with ½” inlet and 3/8” outlet to protect the system from the contaminants and moisture which may be present in the refrigerant. This moisture eventually freezes within the system causing lack of proper functioning plus decreased efficiency. It uses a solid core of 8 cubic” capacity to capture these impurities with ease. This extends the life of your Trane HVAC system, and ensures that the system operates smoothly, efficiently and is reliable. It is UL certified to ensure that the product is safe to use.
