Trane CTR06958 Motor Protector & Oil Pressure Control is a security control component designed to guard against compressors in HVAC systems through monitoring the load and the oil pressure of the motor. Its operation is based on feeling pressure and electrical conditions and switches off the system in case of oil pressure loss or unsafe motor work. It is installed in the control section where it is connected to the compressor circuit and sensing lines in order to monitor it correctly.
