The Trane COM9870 is a compressor that delivers better capacity cooling. Measuring roughly 13” long by 14.5” wide, it is the hard-working compressor from this line of products. Refrigerant circulation is the other component where brazed stub tubes are used for providing connection points. Because of the relatively large size of the plant, its installation should be done professionally. The compressed refrigerant then passes in the system where it collects heat from the indoors and expels it to the outdoors by use of R-410A-friendly refrigerant. The equipment resolved large cooling loads in massive constructions because of its 14.6-ton refrigeration capability.
