Description
The Trane COM11497 Compressor is a heavy-duty machine that is meant for high cooling capacity in medium to large commercial areas. Within the closed casing, two intertwined scrolls work as a fast-moving pump to compress the refrigerant gas. This design translates to 4 tons (approximately 49,000 BTUH) which is suitable for handling heavy cooling loads in moderate to large commercial spaces. The Trane COM11497 uses R-410A refrigerant which is environmentally friendly compared to the previous models of refrigerants. Through the efficient compression of this refrigerant, the compressor sets the ball rolling on the key process of heat exchange in the Trane HVAC system.
