The Trane COM11313 Scroll Compressor is used to allow refrigerant compression provide cooling to a matched air conditioning element. It compresses R22 vapour in HVAC systems including packaged units, condensing elements, and 3.5-ton capacity and 460 V three-phase power that enable stable cooling output and electrical operation. It is placed in the closed refrigerant loop to assist in maintaining a pressure difference that is required to facilitate heat transfer between the sections of the system.
