Description
The Trane COM10800 Compressor workhorse air conditioning compressor equipment is better suited for cooling commercial middle-sized areas or large residential sections using green R-410A refrigerant. This Trane compressor is not like the conventional piston type of compressor; instead, it comes with a scroll type. Within the enclosed casing, two intertwining scrolls work as a vane pump, compressing refrigerant gas. This design is equivalent to a 3.25-ton capacity or approximately 40,000 BTUH, which is suitable for handling cooling needs in moderately to even larger areas. Brazed stub tubes with a ½” discharge size have a leak-free circulation of refrigerant and mineral oil lubrication.
