Description
The Trane COM10211 Scroll Compressor is a heavy-duty unit for large to medium commercial applications with high cooling capacity and R-410A refrigerant. A strong, independent structure (hermetic) made of cast iron. Unlike the piston type of compressor, this particular Trane compressor employs a scroll type of operation. Within the sealed casing, two intertwined scrolls act as a rapid pump to compress refrigerant gas. This design is equivalent to a capacity of 4 tons or approximately 49,000 BTUH, which is suitable for handling heavy cooling loads in moderately to large commercial spaces.
