Description
The Trane CNT05482 Defrost Control Board is an essential component of commercial HVAC systems. It also regulates the defrost cycle as the primary component of the system and changes the system from heating mode to defrost mode. This board regulates the time and duration of the defrost cycle depending on the data received from the outside temperature, evaporator temperature and the refrigerant pressure. Due to the control of the defrost cycle, the CNT05482 ensures that the formation of the outer coil of ice is prevented and efficient heat transfer and general performance of the system is achieved.
