Description
The Trane BRD5615 Compressor Inverter Board is electronic control component that controls the speed of variable speed compressors utilized in HVAC systems. It operates on the basis of frequency control of the electrical power supplied to the compressor for the purpose of controlling the cooling or heating output. This dynamic speed control takes place by directly relating the output of the compressor to the actual requirement, and thereby decreases load at low demand. The BRD5615 board is designed for use in commercial and industrial HVAC systems incorporating variable speed compressor equipment including chillers, rooftop units and packaged terminal air conditioners.
