Description
The Trane ACT00698 Rotary Actuator is a mechanical control component used to open or close dampers or valves with an accurate amount of torque in HVAC systems. Its main purpose is to convert an electrical control signal in 24 VAC to rotary motion up to 180 in-lb to actuate a linkage, airflow, or fluid path. The process of fitting the damper or valve shaft and installing wiring on the control circuit in accordance with the system. It provides proper modulation of airflow, or hydronic flow assists zone balancing, and assists in temperature distribution stability.
