The Taco Z075T2-3 is a two-way, normally closed motorized zone valve designed for use in hydronic heating and cooling systems. In simpler terms, it’s a electronically controlled switch that regulates fluid flow within a closed loop. When inactive, the valve remains closed, stopping the flow of water. Upon receiving a signal from a thermostat or control panel, the internal motor opens the valve, allowing hot or cold water to pass through to designated areas. This targeted control enables efficient operation of zoned HVAC systems, directing conditioned air or water only to spaces requiring it. The Taco Z075T2-3 is particularly suited for applications with 3/4 inch pipe connections and operates on a standard 24-volt AC power supply. Its compact allows for easy installation in various HVAC equipment configurations. The valve is constructed from durable forged bronze for longevity and can withstand pressure up to 300 psi.
