Description
The System Sensor APA151 Piezo Annunciator is an audible alarm device designed for use with duct smoke detectors in HVAC systems. It features a piezo buzzer that generates a loud (85 decibel) alert when a detector senses smoke. The wide operating voltage (18-33V) and low current draw (20-50mA) make it compatible with various HVAC systems. Its durability is enhanced by a wide operating temperature range (-20 to 70°C) and humidity tolerance (10-93%). The compact size (4.5 inches) allows for discreet installation in air handling units or mechanical rooms. By providing a clear audible signal, the APA151 helps ensure timely response to potential fire hazards in HVAC ductwork.
