The Supco SSN082KS Nitride Furnace Igniter is an ignition component used in gas-fired heating equipment to initiate burner ignition during the start-up sequence in HVAC systems. Utilizing silicon nitride technology, it rapidly reaches operating temperature when energized and provides the heat source required to ignite the gas-air mixture within the combustion section. The igniter is commonly applied in furnaces, boilers, unit heaters, and other gas-fired systems where electronic ignition is utilized. Installed adjacent to the burner assembly, it operates alongside flame sensors, gas valves, and ignition controls.
