Description
The Supco SHP200150 High Pressure Switch is a control component that is used to measure the pressure of refrigerant in the air conditioning and heat pump loop in HVAC systems. It is fitted on the high-side refrigerant line, and it closes the control circuit at 200 PSI to avoid excessive pressure on the compressor and other associated components, and it closes at 150 PSI as the pressure drops. To ensure that the HVAC appliance is operating safely, in this application use of switching, mechanical damage, and unstable operating conditions is switching off the system when needed.
