The Sterling-Sterlco T563-04-0000, commonly known as the 56-T-1 Inch 125/200F R/A, is a thermostatic water regulating valve used to keep fluid temperatures consistent in various HVAC systems. It works by automatically modifying the coolant or other liquid flow according to the ambient temperature. The fluid stream is submerged in a bulb that contains a liquid that is sensitive to temperature. The liquid in the bulb expands as the temperature rises, forcing a stem. The stem movement controls a valve, which opens or closes to change the fluid’s flow rate.
