Description
The Sporlan Controls ERYE-18-CP 20-Ton Thermostatic Expansion Valve is a refrigeration control part used in HVAC systems to accurately meter refrigerant flow to the evaporator coil based on temperature and pressure conditions. This part will be designed with 7/8 x 1-1/8 fittings and a 5-foot capillary tube and should be used with R-454B refrigerant to ensure that the superheat is maintained and the heat transfer is effective. The valve is used at the evaporator inlet of large-capacity air conditioning and commercial refrigeration systems to provide uniform cooling operation and compressor protection.
