The Sporlan Controls 903011 Head Pressure Control is an essential part of the refrigeration and air conditioning system commonly referred to as HVAC. It is a head pressure control valve with 1/2” ODF connection which controls the condensing pressure of the refrigerant. This is done by controlling refrigerant circulation rates so that the system resolves around pressure levels appropriate to its use regardless of environmental conditions. These advantages are several, to include better system efficiency derived from extremely high or low head pressures that put tremendous pressure on the compressor and diminish the cooling effect. This in turn results in increased energy efficiency, longer compressor durability and stable system performance. It is applied in different refrigeration and air conditioning systems.
