Description
The Sporlan Controls 900605 is a 1-1/8 inch sweat connection pressure regulator valve with a pressure range of 0-60 psi. It is a part of a lot of HVAC/R equipment, like chillers, condensers, and air handlers. This valve keeps the crankcase pressure steady, which helps control the flow of refrigerant. This keeps the compressor motor from being overworked during and after defrost cycles or following a regular shutdown, which can increase system efficiency and shield parts from harm from pressure swings. To prevent wear and tear on the valve and other system parts, the valve also has a strainer to remove debris from the refrigerant line.
