The Sporlan Controls 180320 Element regulates refrigerant flow by responding to temperature changes within the expansion valve assembly to maintain proper system balance. With a 10-foot element length and R22 refrigerant compatibility in HVAC systems, it provides accurate sensing for controlled refrigerant metering. It works by sensing temperature at the evaporator outlet and transmitting pressure through the capillary tube to adjust valve operation accordingly.
