Description
The Sporlan Controls 169278 4-Ton Thermal Expansion Valve (TXV) is used in HVAC systems with R-404A refrigerant. Being a TXV, it closely regulates the flow of refrigerant into the evaporator coil according to the system’s cooling requirements. This enhances the system’s operation efficiency and ensures that liquid refrigerant does not flow to the damaging compressor. This valve has a 1/2″ X 7/8″ ODF connection and is used in commercial refrigeration equipment such as coolers, freezers, and air conditioning equipment.
