Description
Sporlan Controls 168990 3-Ton Thermostatic Expansion Valve is an essential element for HVAC systems that use R-22 refrigerant. The connection sizes of this valve are 3/8” x 1/2” ODF and it has a three-ton capacity system that controls the flow of refrigerant to evaporator for efficient cooling purposes. Reflow does this by sensing changes in temperature and pressure of the refrigerant and using this information to control superheat at the evaporator outlet. This automatic throttling mechanism increases the efficiency of the system while avoiding under or overfeeding of the refrigerant, which can cause system inefficiencies or damage. The valve has been designed for several applications in air conditioning systems refrigeration systems and heat pumps.
