The Sporlan Controls 168774 8-Ton Thermostatic Expansion Valve (TXV) R-22 5/8” x 1-1/8” ODF controls the flow of refrigerant in HVAC systems with high accuracy. It works through the ability to detect the temperature of the evaporator and thereby control to amount of refrigerant that circulates through it. This helps to provide better cooling and energy usage in the building. The thermostatic expansion valve is designed for 8-ton systems using R-22 and has 5/8” x 1-1/8” ODF fittings.
