Description
The Sporlan Controls 163704 is a 6-ton thermal expansion valve designed for use in HVAC systems containing R404A refrigerant. It responds to temperature changes to play a crucial part in controlling the flow of refrigerant throughout the system. The TXV opens wider when the temperature in the evaporator coil, which is in charge of absorbing heat from the surrounding air, drops. This increases the amount of refrigerant that can enter the evaporator and improves the cooling ability of the system. On the other hand, the TXV automatically partially closes to limit the flow of refrigerant as the temperature rises, preventing the system from overcooling. This procedure makes sure that the system only utilizes the required amount of refrigerant.
