Description
The Sporlan Controls 163636 Thermostatic Expansion Valve is a metering control component used to regulate the flow of refrigerant into the evaporator in air conditioning and refrigeration equipment. It has a 7.5-ton system and features 5/8-inch x 7/8-inch ODF connections. It responds to changes in evaporator outlet temperature to maintain the proper refrigerant superheat optimize heat absorption and prevent liquid refrigerant from returning to the compressor in HVAC systems. It is placed within the refrigerant circuit and it supports efficient cooling performance, stable system operation and consistent refrigerant control.
