Description
The Sporlan Controls 163564 Thermostatic Expansion Valve is a refrigerant control component used to regulate the flow entering the evaporator element of HVAC systems. It has 7/8″ x 1-3/8″ ODF connections and a 5-foot capillary to detect superheat and adjust the passage of refrigerant to normal cooling cycles. This commercial air conditioning and heat pump equipment requires metering of refrigerant to be a requirement. It assists in the regulation of refrigerant distribution and aids in the maintenance of consistent heat exchange.
