Description
The Sporlan Controls 163560 Thermostatic Expansion Valve EBSVE-8C is used to control the flow to the evaporator in the HVAC systems. Having 5/8 inch x 7/8 inch connections, it works as a cooling and heat pump loop. The quantity of refrigerant is adjusted according to load and operating conditions so that the correct pressure and heat exchange are maintained. The inlet is operated by sensors and evaporator components, depending on the system concept of accurate flow control, to aid in maintaining an even cooling effect, and internal restraint throughout normal operating cycles.
