Description
The Sporlan Controls 155124 Thermostatic Expansion Valve (TXV) is a refrigerant metering component that regulates the flow of R-22 into the evaporator according to changing operating conditions. A 5-foot external capillary senses outlet temperature and pressure allowing the valve to adjust its opening and maintain the desired superheat. The 3/8″ x 3/8″ ODF connection provides the specified tubing interface for the refrigeration piping in HVAC systems. By automatically balancing flow requirements, the valve promotes efficient thermal exchange, stable evaporator operation, uniform cooling and dependable performance throughout the cooling cycle.
