Description
The Sporlan Controls 128938 Thermal Expansion Valve (TXV) is a highly accurate component for the management of refrigerant in HVAC systems. It has a carrying capacity of 7 tons and is designed for use in systems employing R404A refrigerant which is widely used in commercial refrigeration and air conditioning. It has 5/8 “ x 7/8” ODF connection for easy and smooth connection to other compatible parts. This controls the amount of refrigerant allowed into the evaporator based on its temperature and pressure to effect heat exchange while at the same time eliminating problems associated with flooded evaporator or an underfeed evaporator. It optimizes the characteristics of a system and lowers its consumption while simultaneously prolonging the service life of HVAC components.
