Description
The Sporlan Controls 124359 10-Ton Thermostatic Expansion Valve(TXV) is used with R-22 refrigerant in HVAC systems. It has an ODF connection size of 5/8” x 7/8”. TXVs are essential in refrigeration systems where they function as accurate control mechanisms of the refrigerant flow into the evaporator. The TXV controls the quantity of the refrigerant that enters the evaporator by detecting the pressure and temperature of the evaporator. This way, the cooling is at its better, no liquid refrigerant gets to the compressor which is damaging, and energy is well used.
