The Sporlan Controls 116220 16-Ton Thermostatic Expansion Valve or commonly known as TXV is a valve that controls the flow of refrigerant to HVAC system applications particularly to R-22. With copper tubes of 16 tons, its superheat is kept constant by control of refrigerant flow depending on the load and temperature of the evaporator. The 5’ capillary is used to provide accurate and dependable sensing of refrigerant conditions. Designed for application in commercial and industrial refrigeration systems, this TXV contributes to improved system performance, efficiency and energy saving while guaranteeing stable cooling capacity.
