Sporlan Controls 111877 Thermostatic Expansion Valve (TXV) is an essential part of HVAC systems that is intended for the use of R-404A refrigerant. This external thermal expansion valve has an external capillary of 30 inches and connections of 3/8” x 1/2” ODF. Its main purpose of operation is to control the mass flow rate of the refrigerant fluid into the evaporator coil dependent on the temperature and pressure parameters. It work based on the temperature of the refrigerant leaving the evaporator and controlling the flow to achieve a constant superheat. This process safeguards against acts for example overheating or flooding within the system, which causes inefficiencies or destruction.
