The Sporlan Controls 109847 1/8-Ton Thermal Expansion Valve (TXV) is an essential part in refrigeration and air conditioning HVAC systems. It effectively regulates the refrigerant flow into the evaporator making certain flow of cool air. The TXV works on a Concept of detecting temperature and pressure in the evaporator. This dynamic control keeps on maintaining the flow of cool air and at the same time protecting the system. The Sporlan TXV is intended for 1/8-ton systems employing R134a refrigerant and supplied with 1/8” and 3/8” ODF connections.
