Description
Sporlan Controls 109002 Thermostatic Expansion Valve is a control component intended for use in refrigeration systems with R-404A refrigerant. This external thermal expansion valve (TXV) has an external capillary length of 30 inches and connections of 3/8” x 1/2” ODF. The principal role is to control the refrigerant flow into the evaporator coil and control temperature pressure parameters that affect the cooling capacity of the refrigeration system. The TXV works through the expansion of the high-pressure liquid refrigerant through an orifice which reduces its pressure to enable vaporization. This mixed-phase refrigerant then goes to the evaporator.
