Description
The Sporlan Controls 108821 Thermal Expansion Valve creates the flow of refrigerant based on the evaporator load conditions. It is primarily employed in refrigeration and cooling systems that use R404A and in which the exact amount of superheat is needed to ensure reliable operation. The valve is attached at the inlet of the evaporator with 3/8″ x 1/2″ ODF connections and the 30-inch external sensing bulb is firmly clamped to the suction line to detect alterations in temperature. It keeps the refrigerant balance in the entire unit and protects internal parts, which ensures effective operating in the HVAC systems.
