Description
The Sporlan Controls 108715 Thermostatic Expansion Valve (TXV) is intended for application with R-22 refrigerant in different HVAC systems. This external thermal expansion valve has connection sizes of 3/8” x 1/2” ODF and comes with a 30-inch capillary tube to regulate the flow of the refrigerant into the evaporator. The TXV works and modulates the refrigerant flow rate according to the temperature and pressure of the refrigerant leaving the evaporator. In HVAC systems, the TXV is a vital component because it controls the flow of the refrigerant into the evaporator, the component which absorbs heat from the surrounding air or any other substance.
