Description
The Spirax-Sarco 66664 1/2″ Straight Float and Thermostatic Trap 15 PSI FTI-15 is a condensate-removal component used to discharge the accumulated moisture and still retain the steam. It is a float and thermostat that opens to allow the discharge of liquid and closes when steam is present to maintain the right pressure in the loop up to 15 PSI. It is installed in line with the condensate or steam distribution piping, and it attaches to the drain pipe and supply pipe. Its operation assists in the process of limited moisture removal shielding steam-consuming parts of the system.
