Description
The Soler & Palau SPT-100X Pressure Switch FS-751-312 monitors differential air pressure to verify proper airflow across ventilation ducts and exhaust fans. Mounted inside fan housings or air-handling cabinets in HVAC systems, the switch connects via tubing to high- and low-pressure sensing points. When fan operation generates sufficient static pressure difference across the diaphragm, the internal electrical contacts close to complete the safety circuit. Verifying draft velocity or supply airflow permits continued burner or fan operation, coordinates equipment staging, and supports safe ventilation sequence control across active operating cycles.
