Siemens GIB161.1U Non Spring Return Damper Actuator is strong and reliable actuator to control the dampers in HVAC system. It is powered by 24V AC/DC power and compatible with 50 and 60 Hz power supply. The Siemens GIB161.1U actuator is a non spring return actuator, which does not require a spring to hold its position. The design proposed here eliminates the requirement for periodic spring tension changes for long term reliability. The damper position is defined by a control signal received from building automation system (BAS). It then converts that signal.
