Description
The Rheem-Ruud SP11309T Long Anode Rod is a special part of water heaters; and with this, the action of corrosion is brought down and the life cycle of the tank is also enhanced by extracting corrosive materials from the water. This anode is a 3/4” diameter anode rod from sound magnesium, 39 3/8” length long, with 3/4” NPT threaded coupling. It offers a dependable method of having a shield against rust as well as degradation from accessing the water heater tank. It is applied in the prevention of rust and corrosion of the inside of the water heater tank and in the process the anode rod gets dissolve.
