Description
The Rheem-Ruud PD619096 Thermal Expansion Valve (TXV) is one of the components of HVAC systems and its main role is to control the amount of refrigerant that is allowed into the evaporator coil. This TXV is a 10-ton capacity and measures 5/8” x 7/8” and is for use with R22 refrigerant. It works in the manner that it varies the flow rate of the refrigerant in accordance to the temperature at the evaporator in order to ensure maximum efficiency and performance in cooling. This can be applied in order to improve the cooling capacity of the home and business air conditioning units.
