Description
The Rheem-Ruud AP15172 Flammable Vapor Sensor Harness is to detect the presence of flammable gases in gas-fired equipment and serves an essential safety requirement in HVAC systems. The sensor is attached to the control module using the harness which sends signals to the system that can react to the hazardous conditions, including turning off the operation to avoid ignition. To achieve precision in signal communication, installation requires the harness between sensor and the control board to be attached in line.
