Description
The Rheem-Ruud AM42409 Burner Assembly is actually a component in HVAC systems which is designed to enhance the combustion of equipment that uses gas. It is used in heating units manufactured by Rheem and Ruud meaning that it functions as a burner assembly. The burner assembly should be usually positioned inside the heat exchanger of the HVAC or inside the combustion chamber. When triggered it sucks air from the control valve, mixes it with gas and then it burns to generate heat. This heat is then transferred to air or water depending on how the HVAC system is designed and then circulated around the building.
