The Rheem-Ruud AG-1100+ Metal Pans Float Switch Water Sensor is a robust and highly effective part intended for use in controlling water levels in heating ventilation and air conditioning systems. Available in a 3/4″ size and made from heavy-duty metal, this float switch is ideal for many applications such as domestic and commercial refrigeration units The AG-1100+ Float Switch is buoyancy operated and floats in water and moves a switch at a preset 3/4″ distance when immersed in water. When the float goes up with the water level, it turns the switch either to alert the user or to control another proceeding invention such as a pump or an alarm system. This functionality is useful in issues of overflow, management of condensate water and proper functioning of HVAC equipment.
