Rheem-Ruud 64-21106-02 Thermal Expansion Valve Bulb Strapping Kit is a mounting hardware that is used to hold the sensing bulb of a refrigerant thermal expansion valve in place. It operates by clamping a metal strap to the suction line to firmly hold the TXV sensing bulb against the pipe surface so that the bulb can accurately sense temperature changes, when it is used in HVAC systems. The mounting strap is fitted on the suction line where the sensing bulb is fitted and tightened to ensure that it maintains contact with the pipe. Proper bulb installation assists in the maintenance of proper temperature sensing and proper refrigerant flow control.
