The Rheem-Ruud 62-23556-12 Direct Spark Igniter is a useful element in today’s HVAC equipment that optimally supplies the gas furnaces and heating systems with the fire ignition. This igniter together with its Kanthal element stands for long lasting performance because of its high heat and corrosion resistant ability. To ensure that the ignition process is perfect the ground and the spark electrode offset are adjusted to a 90 degree angle. Comes with a 35” wire making it easy to install the camera. Rheem-Ruud 62-23556-12 is seen here in that when in use it helps in starting the heating cycle by generatng a direct electrical spark which in returns ignites the gas.
