The Rheem-Ruud 61-106239-28 is a 3-ton thermal expansion valve designed for use with R-22 refrigerant only. This type of TXV is able to modulate the flow of refrigerant into the evaporator in response to changes in heat load, thus maintaining efficiency. It has an inlet and exit of 3/8” and this provides the right measure of control over the refrigerant. such as the key components of HVAC systems which also include heat pumps and air conditioners. In this way, they assist in raising the dependability and efficiency of these systems by maintaining the superheat level at the right level to ensure that liquid refrigerant does not enter the compressor. Reducing the likelihood of damage, does not only extend the life of the compressor but enhances system efficiency as well.
