Description
The Rheem-Ruud 61-102211-34 is one of the crucialcomponents of air conditioning systems for residences and light commercial use. This thermal expansion valve (TXV) controls the flow of refrigerant that goes into the evaporator for optimal cooling. This switch comes in 2-ton systems that employ R-410A refrigerant and has 3/8” inlets and outlets. The TXV works on the principle of detecting the temperature as well as pressure of the refrigerant and then adjusting the degree of opening of valve for controlling the flow of the refrigerant. The management of the system is made better, the circulation of liquid refrigerant to the compressor is averted and the cooling capacity is increased.
