The Rheem-Ruud 61-102211-08 is an essentialpart in the air conditioning and refrigeration system. It thus functions as a thermal expansion valve (TXV) that let the right amount of refrigerant into the evaporator for maximum cooling. As the part of the system this 3/8″ x 3/8″ valve is used for 3-ton systems with R-410A refrigerant.
