Description
The Rheem-Ruud 55-107225-04 Scroll Compressor is a hermetic component built to operate on 230V 3-phase electrical input and circulate R410A refrigerant with an output capacity of about 51,000 BTU. It compresses refrigerant vapor by trapping and reducing gas volume between two interleaved scroll elements raising both pressure and temperature. In air conditioning systems, it is positioned in the condensing unit where refrigerant is continuously moved through the evaporator and condenser loops. Its operation within the system is to maintain refrigerant flow and pressure balance, enabling heat absorption indoors and heat rejection outdoors for consistent cooling performance in controlled conditions.
